MedWatch
Within 48 hrs of being hospitalized, 50% of seniors will need someone else to make a medical decision on their behalf. Learn how to ensure first responders and hospital staff know what you want.
The MedWatch Program is a community-wide partnership of the Langley Division of Family Practice, Langley physicians, Langley Memorial Hospital Emergency Department, local first responders and seniors’ residences. The Program and form were created to ensure that vital medical information is available to first responders when responding to an emergency call. Having this information available when answering an emergency call makes the first responder’s job easier while enabling patients’ health care wishes to be honored.
Virtual Education Sessions
Virtual presentations can be arranged for you and your neighbours/complex with a 45 min presentation from LDFP's Barb Stack and Township of Langley Firefighter, Jason Hodge. They will walk you through the importance of having these documents completed, an overview of how to complete them and where to keep everything once completed.
