SENIORS TELEPHONE SOCIAL
Bored? Lonely? Then we have just the thing for you!
Seniors Telephone Social is our telephone-based program to help seniors deal with the isolation, loneliness and boredom. It's a great way to stay connected all from the comfort of your own home - on the phone. Easy. No computers needed!
It's an interactive telephone conference session where you can laugh and socialize, learn new skills, and create new connections. And it's free! The Seniors Telephone Social is available for all seniors 55+ living Langley free of charge.
What to expect on the call:
there will be a number of programs from mind teasers, to mediation sessions, short story/poetry readings to name a few. A particular favorite in other communities is You Be the Judge - we will tell you about a case and you get to be the jury and decide guilty - or - not guilty. See the schedule below.
When?
Two sessions per week - Tuesday and Friday at 1:30 pm for about 30 minutes.
Where?
From the comfort of your home on your phone!
